The St. John’s airport will keep closed to travellers till Sunday night time, after a hearth ended in the closure of its terminal Friday night time.

The St. John’s Global Airport Authority says the terminal is anticipated to stick closed to the general public till Sunday at 5 p.m., with industrial flights set to renew at 7 p.m.

The airport authority says the fireplace started round 11:30 p.m. Friday on the second one ground of the terminal close to gate 10. 

The St. John’s regional fireplace division, in addition to airport emergency responders, have been in a position to include the fireplace, which started within the ceiling.
