TORONTO — Hydro One says tens of hundreds of its consumers have misplaced energy after robust winds tore throughout maximum of southern Ontario on Saturday.
The application says greater than 21,000 consumers are with out energy as of 10:30 p.m.
The outages stretch from simply out of doors Ottawa to Pembroke, Parry Sound and Kingston and are scattered around the Larger Toronto and Hamilton Space to portions of Niagara and westward to simply out of doors Windsor.
The application says the vast majority of the outages shall be restored in a single day.
Surroundings Canada has issued wind warnings for spaces together with Kingston, Prince Edward, Niagara, Hamilton, London, Middlesex, Chatham-Kent and Windsor.
The federal company says affected spaces will enjoy robust southwesterly winds gusting as much as 90 or 100 km/h starting Saturday night time.
