A person was once arrested for allegedly falsely tweeting {that a} flight going from Dubai to Jaipur were hijacked, police stated on Thursday.
The incident happened on Wednesday.
Moti Singh Rathore, a resident of Nagaur in Rajasthan, arrived on the Indira Gandhi World Airport after a Dubai-Jaipur was once diverted to Delhi because of unhealthy climate, Deputy Commissioner of Police (airport) Ravi Kumar Singh stated.
The flight landed at 9:45 a.m. and was once given clearance to leave at 1:40 p.m. In the meantime, Rathore tweeted “flight highjack”, the police stated.
Rathore was once offloaded from the flight along with his bag and the flight was once allowed to go away after the essential assessments. He was once passed over to the native police for additional motion, they stated.
The accused instructed police that he posted the tweet as he was once annoyed over the flight being stranded, they added.
A case was once registered within the subject and Rathore was once arrested, the police stated.
